UAAUK Assam Day 2025

UAAUK celebrated its 25th Anniversary Assam Day over the weekend of 23 - 24 August 2025 at Stratford Manor Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon.

The Silver Jubilee celebration brought together members and guests from across the UK and beyond for a vibrant weekend of Assamese culture, music, dance, talks, exhibitions, children’s activities, sports, quiz, and community engagement.

Highlights included performances by local artists and guest artists Raktim Goswami and Anamika Chowdhury, a Bihu dance session led by Mrs Madhurima Goswami, a talk by Rita Kakati Shah, and an exhibition showcasing Assamese bamboo, brass, and silk products.

The event was warmly appreciated by members and reflected UAAUK’s continued commitment to promoting Assamese culture, heritage, and community spirit in the UK.
